The workshop will be split into two tracks:

AN OVERVIEW OF THE CURRENT CRYPTO REGULATION**
- An overview of the Crypto regulation worldwide
- 🇪🇺 10 am - 1 pm: The EU: The Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) and the Transfer of Funds Regulation (TFR), EUCI
- 🇺🇸 2 pm - 4 pm: The US: An overview of the current stablecoin bill proposal, 👩🏻⚖️ TuongVy Le, Partner and Head of Regulatory & Policy, Bain Capital Crypto
- 🇨🇴 South America
- Timing still to be defined: Decentralisation & Regulation - main issues & future steps: legal risk management & self-insurance fund, 🧑💻 Layer 0, Maker DAO
- Privacy - an analysis of the OFAC sanctions against Tornado Cash
**🔹 The second day (October 9th):
HOW WILL CRYPTO REGULATION IMPACT INNOVATION?**
- Discovering the dynamic between product and system design and the legal frameworks
- 11 am - 1 pm: Introduction to Token Engineering & the process of designing distributed systems, Angela Kreitenweis, Founder of Token Engineering Academy
- 3 pm - 5 pm: Formal methods for law engineering, 🧑💻 Fabrizio Romano Genovese, Benjamin Sen, 20 squares
Working group members will gather physically during the day and will later be given the opportunity to continue working together asynchronously.
The goal is to allow informal interaction between the industry and the institutions and to present the results from the first day of the workshop. We will present the industry side to the regulators in terms of issues and concerns, as well as educational stands explaining the future potential.
